Located in the heart of Dénia

Dénia is a small city in the Valencian Community, Spain, located on the northern coast of the province of Alicante. It is the capital of the Marina Alta region and lies about an hour’s drive from the international airports of Alicante and Valencia. Within Dénia, Hostal Loreto is right in the center — which is also the historic old town — and within walking distance of most major points of interest.

Great small hotel, perfect location, friendly staff and good quality restaurant, with reasonably priced breakfast. Our only criticism is the beds… very hard and uncomfortable, barely slept for the 3 nights we were there … such a pity, and the ONLY reason we wouldn’t return

Lovely place, bathroom was very clean, comfortable bedroom.Staff were courteous and pleasant, professional.Only one minor issue, on my first evening the people above my room kept scraping the furniture across the floor at 03:00 hours really loudly! Spoke with the reception staff and they were very helpful. No issue the second night!

Beautiful cute Hostal w/ affordable prices and a good location. Room and facilities were clean. However, extremely poorly soundproofed.Unfortunately I had a youth group or a school trip group, idk, stay the level above me and there was no tranquility in the morning whatsoever. One could hear every step/word/luggage going over the floor tiles and staircases.I advise you to bring EAR PLUGS! 🙂

I like to try to find hotels which make you feel you are in a particular country, and not like the hotel could be in any country in the World. And Loreto has Spain written all over it.Particularly the courtyard area and the tiny terrace looking out onto the narrow busy tapas bar street. Could be noisy on a weekend night but they recently put double glazed windows to quieten it!Very helpful staff also. Recommend

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hostal Loreto, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute delight.First and foremost, the courtyard is simply stunning. It's a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, with beautiful plants, comfortable seating, and a serene atmosphere that made me feel instantly relaxed. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. But what really sets Hostal Loreto apart is the wonderful owner and his family, who have been running the establishment for several generations. They were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making me feel like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. The owner went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. He clearly takes pride in his family's establishment and it shows in every aspect of the experience. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. But what really stood out was the attention to detail and the personal touches that made me feel like a welcome guest in someone's home.Overall, I would highly recommend Hostal Loreto to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting.

Great location in the Old Town of Denia. The staff are very attentive, helpful and are always aware of your needs. The tapas are well presented, fresh and very tasty. The rice dishes have great flavours and all of the deserts are made on the premises. All in all great value for money, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love this place! Holds a big space in our heart as we’ve been going there for so many years and have such fond memories! We haven’t stayed in the rooms as we have a holiday home nearby but we often go for lunch or dinner and the food never disappoints.. all home made good food and the desserts are amazing (again, made in house). We will continue to visit every time we are in Denia

We had a lovely room facing the beautiful and quiet interior courtyard. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom recently renovated. The room was light and had a kettle, tv with loads of international channels, air conditioning etc. The staff was very helpful and all receptionists super friendly. Will go back next year!

The Hostal Loreto has an abundance of charm and a lovely atmosphere with accommodating, friendly staff. The manager was very welcoming and happy to help (including with dinner reservations!), ensuring our stay was one to remember. The hotel is clean and tidy with the rooms offering everything you'd need for a stay. The hotel itself is located on a lively street in the old town with lots of tapas bars which are open in the evenings. You'll have to make the short walk into the town to stay up much after midnight. You're also within walking distance of the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. While there are lots of options close by the hotel's own restaurant and bar shouldn't be overlooked. On our first day there we had some delicious tapas and paella. The bar was well stocked with a great selection of drinks. We could easily have stayed there until dawn.We really enjoyed our stay in Denia and The Hostal Loreto was a huge part of that. We're looking forward to going back soon!

Could not fault the location, service, room or restaurant. Perfect location in the historic town centre, the hotel is housed in a stunning building with a picture perfect courtyard in which we had a wonderful breakfast. Great coffee too!The welcome was very warm from professional, multilingual staff who offered knowledgeable advice on places to visit locally. The room was very well-equipped, clean and excellent value. Also, I could not write a review without mentioning the adjoining restaurant 'El Secreto de Loreto'....just wow! Fantastic food at a good price and very tasteful decor.I mentioned that I would be driving and I was provided with detailed instructions beforehand for the private parking area located nearby. Bearing in mind the location is in the medieval, historic centre having parking so close by is a bonus.Would absolutely recommend Hostal Loreto and hope to stay here again in the near future.

DELICIOUS!The ceviche was really great! We had fresh dorado and spare ribs, and the ribs just melted in your mouth. The dessert was a bit pricey for the offer so we didn't take any.

I've only eaten here. El menú del noche, and it was quite special, very good value for money (I felt like I didn't need to eat for days after) and the drinks are very reasonable for place right in the old town and a very popular area. The rooms I expect are as good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I certainly would recommend a visit. As with all the restaurants on Loreto, it does get busy in the evening, so book or go fairly early at peak times if you want to sit outside and watch it all go by while you have your meal.
